To trade on Roxom, your account must be verified. This quick process — also known as KYC (Know Your Customer)— helps us ensure a safe and compliant platform for everyone.
In this guide, you'll learn:
✅ Why account verification is required
📸 What information you need to provide
⚙️ How to complete the process step by step
🔍 What is Account Verification?
Account Verification (KYC) is the process where you confirm your identity by submitting:
A valid government-issued ID — only national ID or passport are accepted
(Driver’s licenses or residence permits are not valid)A liveness check selfie, where you’ll be asked to turn your head using your device’s camera
This helps ensure that every account belongs to a real person and prevents identity fraud.
🔒 Why is it required?
Completing your account verification allows you to:
✅ Trade on the platform
✅ Deposit and withdraw Bitcoin
✅ Activate your account for crypto market access
It also helps Roxom comply with international regulations (AML, CTF) and provide a secure environment for all users.
🚫 What can I do without verification?
If you skip verification, you’ll still be able to:
Explore the platform
Try Paper Trading
But you won’t be able to deposit, trade, or withdraw until your account is verified.
📲 How to verify your account
You can start your verification in two ways:
Right after registration (as part of the onboarding)
Anytime from your account at Account > Identification
Step 1 – Start Crypto Access Verification
Click Start Crypto Verification to begin the first level of verification, required for:
Depositing and withdrawing BTC
Trading crypto spot assets and BTC-denominated derivatives
Step 2 – Submit your information
You’ll need to:
Select your country and choose a valid document (national ID or passport)
Use your device’s camera to take a live photo of your document
(Document uploads are not accepted)Complete a liveness selfie by following on-screen instructions (you’ll be asked to turn your head)
💡 You can complete this process from your computer or mobile device, as long as the camera is working properly.
Make sure you're in a quiet and well-lit place to avoid delays.
In some cases, we may ask for additional information, such as:
A Proof of Address (PoA)
A declaration or documentation related to your source of funds
These requests are part of our compliance process and help us keep the platform safe and globally compliant.
Step 3 – Wait for confirmation
Most verifications are reviewed within minutes. You’ll get an email as soon as your account is approved — or if we need any or if we need corrections or additional information.
🧭 What comes after Crypto Access?
A second level of verification — Traditional Market Access — will soon be available for users who want to:
Trade traditional stocks, ETFs, and other fiat-based assets
Use BTC as collateral for spot margin trading across markets
When available, you’ll be able to upgrade directly from the same Identification section.
🛠 Having trouble?
If your verification is rejected, you’ll receive an email with the reason.
⚠️ Please note:
If your KYC is rejected, you won’t be able to restart the process or submit it again.
Roxom is not allowed to override this outcome or offer a second chance.
